Third Party Blogs?

This blog offers insight on a cool, low stress way for you to own a blog and reap the benefits without doing the work. WE WRITE THE BLOG POSTS FOR YOU!

The concept is to create a highly indexed blog with chosen keywords to drive traffic to your blog and other websites! This is called a Third Party Blog!

Who Are We?

We are a group of website developers who specialize in open source applications and tools to help our clients market themselves more effectively.

New Hardwood Flooring Client – Woodflooringtips.com

Third Party Blogs has just partnered with a new client to build website traffic in a very competitive space, hardwood flooring and wood floors. The WordPress blog website is woodflooringtips.com. There are some major corporate players in this marketplace with substantial online marketing budgets trying to keep their SEO and keyword positions.

But this new client has a chance to differentiate itself from the big guys. Seneca Hardwoods in Odessa, NY USA is not a wholesaler, middle man, retail chain or even corporate behemoth with brands. They are truly a hardwood flooring manufacturer. They get raw hardwood logs and in their own mill and make wood floors for you. In many cases, you may call to order and they will actually custom mill your floor for you! And they are very competitive in terms of hardwood flooring pricing. They have to be. The new blog is designed to promote their business website, senecahardwoods.com.

Search Engine Keyword Research

Search engine keyword research is step one in building a successful Third Party Blog. We wrote a blog post in July 2009, The Key is Keywords that really breaks down the reason for SEO keyword research.

In consultations with clients, we focus on the competitive marketplace that they reside in. We look existing meta tags and their existing keywords for their business website and then using search engine keyword research, we find out if those meta tags get reasonable search traffic. We then look at the search “competition” for those meta tag keywords. (more…)

John Madden – Boom! or Keep It Simple

Most everyone has heard the term K.I.S.S. or keep it simple, stupid. There is a reason why K.I.S.S. works. We are all inundated by information and data and we have a limited capacity to understand and retain it. When we train our clients, we limit each training session to two hours as even with good note taking, you reach the point of zero retention. Third Party Blogs operate in the same way. We could produce lengthy blog posts that go on and on about a particular subject, but why? What is the goal of the blog? It is to get traffic on valuable keywords. It is to beat your competition in the search engine game.

We like to call this this the “John Madden” approach. The now retired U.S. football announcer and coach had a knack for the simple, basic description of a play or action. He was telling you what you already knew and saw. Like “And then this guy goes up here and Boom!” He would use the tele-strator which was basically a light pen for the TV and circle the action on a replay. You had already seen it and understood what happened. And people loved him for it. He was one of the most popular announcers in football history.

So when we write blog posts for you, we like to use the same approach. We write all around the topic. We reinforce the keywords that we have targeted. And we keep it simple, so that it is easily understood and digestible. And right now, the search engines love that.

And this simplicity sounds easy, but it is actually a process that has been developed over time which yields the best results. So it is not quick and dirty. It is smart and calculating. But on the outside it looks simple. Even John Madden honed his craft until he perfected the simplicity. And it worked.

Links, Links and More Links

It is impossible to overstate how important good link building is for SEO and blogging success. This is a vital part of the process that we employ throughout the creation and maintenance of your blog. There are different types of links, each carrying different value to your third party blog. The quantity and quality of the links play a big part in the SEO success of your blog. For this post, we will be looking at one way “inbound” links.

Who is Thirdpartyblogs.com For?

We are pleasantly surprised in the viewership and comments of our young third party blog in less than one month. It is interesting to parse the comments and help shape both the posts and the promotion of the blog. One of the challenges is “positioning” a blog so that it is presented or optimized to the target audience for which it is intended. While we would like as many readers as possible to find us, we want to make sure that potential clients will be the lions share of targets we reach. (more…)

The Key is Keywords

Everyone wants more traffic to their blog/website. Traffic = revenue. A Third Party Blog is developed and built to do just that. You can not be all things to all people. So you have to guess (put on your client emulation hat) what keywords / search terms people will use to try and find the goods/services that you offer. The more vertical/regional your marketplace is, the easier to increase traffic but a smaller marketplace. The more horizontal/universal your business is, the harder to compete, but the opportunity is massive. (more…)

Thirdpartyblogs.com is a Third Party Blog!

OK, the fact is, Thirdpartyblogs.com is a third party blog. Sort of. It is a blog built to promote certain keywords and get highly indexed with search engines. The idea is to drive traffic to one of our sponsors, s-go Consulting to allow potential clients to request more information or get pricing on a third party blog.

One interesting aspect of the term “third party blog” is that I coined that term. So now I am trying to build a buzz around the term and get it used as an industry standard. The only similar term I could find was “third party blog hosting”. So this is not a competitive keyword space, very few uses of this term. This is Good and bad. No one is really searching by this term…yet. (more…)
